Mountain “Peeks”
We’ve been busy at Soulshine the last few months - people are waking up from their pandemic slumber and finding a different, new world. Photographs play their role in that, and many families are no longer putting off the annual (or in some cases every decade) family photos.
I have done a few private events that I wasn’t able to share, but believe me, I’ve been logging in some serious editing hours - SHEW!
Now, on to the reason for this post! This family invited me up to their rental in Blackhawk and I NEVER turn down an opportunity to photograph humans in the mountains. This place was BREATHTAKING to say the least - I mean REALLY! Check it out…
Now let’s be frank…that red Golden Retriever is smiling! Actually, both dogs are, but the Golden is hamming it up for sure! But let’s not forget the beautiful family against one of the most spectacular backdrops! WOOWSA!!
These two families are brought together by the women (sisters), one family living out of state and visiting her sister’s family here in Colorado.
The parents who also live out-of-state, joined everyone for one big family reunion - post-COVID up in Blackhawk!
The kiddos, cousins, also got to spent some time together hiking trails and climbing the massive boulders in the outdoor playground.
We climbed all the way up to “Bud” Rock, as I overheard it called and that led us to the picture below.
I do believe that it’s one of my favorite pictures ever! And YES, those are sun rays in the background!
