This mountain wedding was beyond amazing! This is also a good example of a wedding I did without EVER meeting them beforehand. We chatted on the phone, of course, but this was before the days of “Zoom”, we visually met one another ON the day of the wedding. I mention this because it takes a real people-person to jump into an event on the day of execution and roll with it as though you’ve been part of the planning process all along.

This STUNNING venue is nestled in the mountains west of Colorado Springs and in the background is the majestic Pike Peak’s - which is one of Colorado’s fifty-two 14’ners. A “14’ner,” to a local, just means that it’s part of the 14,000 ft. mountain club and standing at 14,115 ft. - and it’s one of the shortest! Amy and Joe also introduced me to some beautiful Laotian traditions that were part of the whole day. I learn something new at EVERY wedding, and this was no exception!
