Welcome, Baby Brooklyn

This little lovelight and her family are new to the Soulshine Phamily (not misspelled). They came to me by way of an amazing group on women on Facebook - all phamily too! This was a modified version of a newborn lifestyle shoot, which I am always happy to offer, especially when the living space is a bit cozier. Mom thought ahead and requested that I bring a backdrop so that we could capture some posed, phamily moments.

I love working with new parents…they’re so in awe of this little bit of “joy” that has been brought into their lives. Sometimes they’re nervous, but I tell them to “just relax, you're doing fine, swimming in this real thing I call life” :) Don’t “waste” time worrying about the littles things, just soak it all now because sometime soon, she will be “bouncing around the room!” Just continue with your “mama dance” and “blaze on”

I love that we’re seeing more and more silver-linings, in the form of mini-humans, that this pandemic has bought to us over the last year too! Cheers to watching phamilies grow through my lens! I love my “job” :)

She may be tiny, but she is fierce!
